Chocolate Pecan Bars
Crust
| Flour | 1 1/2 Cups | |
| Sugar | 2/3 Cup | |
| Margarine, cut into pieces | 1 1/2 sticks | |
| Salt | 1/2 tsp. | |
| Egg, beaten lightly | 1 |
Filling
| Margarine, softened | 1 Stick | |
| Packed Brown Sugar | 1 Cup | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Flour | 1/4 Cup | |
| Vanilla | 1 1/2 tsp. | |
| Salt | 1/2 tsp. | |
| Chopped Pecans | 3 Cups | |
| Chocolate Chips | 2 Cups |
- Blend flour, sugar, butter and salt together till course meal.
- Add eggs. Blend until dough is formed.
- Press into buttered 13×9 inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes till light brown.

- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
- Beat in flour, vanilla and salt.
- Stir in pecans and chips.
- Spread over crust. Bake at 350° for 30 – 35 minutes, until top is golden brown.
