Ingredients
| Sugar | 1 Cup | |
| Butter | 1 Cup | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Flour | 2 Cups | |
| Cream of Tartar | 1/2 tsp. | |
| Baking Soda | 1/2 tsp. | |
| Vanilla | 1 tsp. | |
| Chopped Nuts | 1 Package |
- Mix first three ingredients and cream well.
- Add remaining ingredients and shape into balls.
- Press flat with fork and bake at 350° until very light brown.
