Good Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
| (2 sticks) butter, softened | 1 Cup | |
| Sugar | 2 Cups | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Vanilla Extract | 2 tsp. | |
| All-Purpose Flour | 2 Cups | |
| Hershey's Cocoa | 3/4 Cup | |
| Baking Soda | 1 tsp. | |
| Salt | 1/2 tsp. | |
| Hershey's Chocolate Chips | 1 2/3 Cups |
- Heat oven to 350°. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat until light and fluffy.
- Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add butter to mixture, beating until well blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes. (Do not over back; cookies will be soft. They will puff while baking; flatten upon cooling.)
- Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
